Cookie Policy
Last updated: 9 April 2026
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, to provide information to website operators, and to improve the user experience.
Similar technologies include pixel tags, web beacons, local storage, and session storage. In this policy, we use "cookies" to refer to all of these technologies collectively.
This Cookie Policy applies to our website (www.zynterra.com), the zynterra Platform, and the administration interfaces provided to merchants. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
zynterra EOOD ("zynterra", "we", "us") is the data controller for cookies placed on our own website and Platform. Cookies placed on merchant storefronts are the responsibility of the respective merchant (as data controller); see Section 3 below for details.
2. How We Use Cookies
We use cookies for the following purposes:
2.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for the operation of our website and Platform. Without them, core functionality would not work. They include:
- Session cookies — maintain your authenticated session so you do not need to log in on every page.
- CSRF protection cookies — protect against cross-site request forgery attacks.
- Load balancing cookies — ensure requests are distributed efficiently across our servers.
- Cookie consent preference — remember your cookie consent choices.
Strictly necessary cookies do not require your consent under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive (Directive 2002/58/EC) and the Bulgarian Electronic Communications Act, because they are technically necessary for the provision of the service you have requested.
2.2 Functional Cookies
These cookies enable enhanced functionality and personalization. They are not strictly necessary but improve your experience. They include:
- Language preference — remember the language you selected.
- Admin panel settings — remember your dashboard layout preferences, sidebar state, table column preferences.
- UI preferences — remember display settings such as theme or view mode.
2.3 Analytics Cookies
These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with our website and Platform so that we can improve them. They collect information such as:
- Pages visited and features used.
- Time spent on pages.
- Error occurrences.
- General usage patterns.
Analytics data is collected in anonymized or aggregated form. We do not use analytics cookies to identify individual users or to build personal profiles.
2.4 Marketing and Measurement Cookies
zynterra does not place marketing or advertising cookies on its own website or Platform by default.
However, merchants may enable third-party marketing integrations (e.g., Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics) on their individual storefronts. In such cases, the merchant is the data controller for those cookies, and the merchant is responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from their store visitors.
Where a merchant enables third-party tracking scripts (such as Facebook Pixel or Google Analytics) on their storefront, zynterra provides the technical capability to inject these scripts as part of the Platform's functionality. The merchant is the data controller for data collected by such scripts. zynterra acts as a technical intermediary and does not access or process the data collected by merchant-configured third-party scripts.
3. Third-Party Cookies
The following third parties may set cookies when you use our website or Platform:
| Stripe, Inc. | Payment processing — Stripe may set cookies to enable secure payment flows, fraud detection, and compliance with payment regulations. | Strictly necessary (for payment pages) |
On merchant storefronts, additional third-party cookies may be present depending on the integrations the merchant has enabled. These are governed by the merchant's own cookie and privacy policies.
4. Cookie Consent
When you first visit our website, you will see a cookie consent banner that allows you to:
- Accept all cookies — enables all cookie categories (strictly necessary, functional, analytics).
- Reject non-essential cookies — only strictly necessary cookies will be placed.
- Manage preferences — choose which categories of non-essential cookies to accept or reject.
You may change your preferences at any time through our cookie preference center, accessible via the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer of our website.
Non-essential cookies (functional and analytics) are only placed on your device after you have given your affirmative consent via the cookie banner. No non-essential cookies are set before you make a choice.
Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled, as they are required for the basic operation of the service.
5. How to Manage Cookies
In addition to our cookie preference center, you can manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- View the cookies stored on your device.
- Delete some or all cookies.
- Block all cookies or only third-party cookies.
- Set preferences for specific websites.
Please note that blocking or deleting cookies may affect the functionality of our website and Platform. For example, if you block session cookies, you will not be able to log in.
